Ralf Rangnick’s reign begins with a win against Crystal Palace.

It is no longer news that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been sacked by Manchester United, the Norwegian was released of his duties after the encounter against Watford dealt United a punch that was too hard for them to take, the Norwegian tactician had to leave, it was forth though as the bad run he has had caused even the club faithful all calling for his head.

The truth is Solskjaer is a good coach but certainly, not a Manchester United coach, or the club was much bigger for him to handle. The likes of Mourinho, Van Gaal, etc. did not get the kind of opportunity that was availed Solskjaer.

Lokomotiv Mosco director of sport and development Ralf Rangnick has wooed United’s director of football John Murtough and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to land the job. Ralf Rangnick will coach Manchester United for the remainder of this season and for two years for an advisory role.

Manchester United have been in contact with the German tactician and they have made it clear that he is the right candidate for the job at United, having spent forty years in football in different countries, with a wealth of experience and the call with United sporting director that went well with the club makes him the right candidate for the job.

Ralf Rangnick has expressed his desire to make Manchester United a big contender not only in the Premiership, but he is also willing to restore the red devils’ European past glory by leading them to another Champions League final.

When quizzed the German had this to say about United’s present squad, “United have a balance of youth and experience”.

The 63 year was full of praise for his team as they beat Patrick Viera’s Crystal palace to a goal to nil. He hardly had time to discuss tactics with the team, but the German was full of praise for his team and particularly Cristiano Ronaldo, it was rumored that the Portuguese will not be able to fit into Ralf’s style of play of pressing, but the game against Crystal proved otherwise and the German was full praise for the ace.

The German said “I was amazed at the physical intensity and state of the game and the players. The first half was extremely high pressing and intensity, always on the right foot.”

“Playing at this intensity throughout the game is a difficult thing to do, and the only thing missing was not scoring many goals, but in all, we had a better control of the ball and the game.”

“I must admit that I was surprised as we played on Saturday and a late kick-off in that regard, we had less than 2days to train, unlike our opponent.”

“The weather was another factor that made it hard for us to train as it rained heavily and was windy, so it was hard for the players to train inside of it.”

The German tactician went further to praise the Portuguese forward for his work off the ball.
